Biography
Dr. Jarrod James Johnson is a passionate educator, lifelong learner, and community-minded leader who believes in the power of growth, both personal and professional. With a career that spans classroom teaching, district leadership, and higher education as an adjunct professor, Jarrod brings a deep commitment to helping students, teachers, and schools thrive.
Currently serving as an Administrator at Autry Technology Center. His journey has taken him from teaching agriculture education to leading Drummond Public Schools as Superintendent, where he helped transform facilities, secure vital grants, and build a culture of excellence.
Outside of traditional education, Jarrod has a strong entrepreneurial spirit. He founded two businesses—S&J Services and Summit Education Services—focused on leadership development and educational innovation, including school software tools.
Whether he's mentoring future administrators, leading professional development, or working with industry partners to strengthen career tech programs, Jarrod is driven by a simple goal: to make a lasting, positive impact on the lives of others.
